Finishing the season with one of the greatest venues in Paintball history, the NPPL is pleased to announce that the Las Vegas World Paintball Championships, brought to you by the US Paintball League, will be held on the strip in Las Vegas October 16 – 18, 2009!All paintball games will be played outdoors on turf behind the Riviera Hotel and Casino. Professional, Divisions 1, 2 and 3 in 7man, Divisions 3 and 4 in 5man and Open Pump will be offered at this 3-day event. The grand four-day tradeshow will kick off on Thursday, October 15th. This event is open to the public. Tickets for Grandstand seating and VIP access will be for sale at www.nppl.com starting in September.
The Riviera Hotel and Casino is the host hotel for this event and will be offering an unbelievable $69 rate per night for 2 Queen Beds to NPPL teams, fans and sponsors during the event – this rate includes FREE parking! The Riviera is located on the strip next to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Center, so teams can literally walk out of their rooms and onto the fields! Registration for the 2009 Las Vegas World Paintball Championships will open Friday, August 21st at www.nppl.com. Teams do not need to pre-qualify to compete in this event. We have added a Division 4 5man for teams wanting to try out the national level without compromising their regional classification.
