New MacDev Marker: Tactical Drone
For years now MacDev have made high end markers for use in tournament paintball. The designers at MacDev have now made a new marker specifically designed for use in scenario paintball.

Construction
The Drone is CNC machined from solid Aluminium billets, without castings or cheap plastic parts, you will receive the same quality expected from MacDev high end tournament markers.

Pneumatic Drive
The Tactical Drone is based on a simplified, valveless version of the popular Droid marker of 2008, however it has enough changes to the drive system to make it a new design in its own right.
The pneumatic drive is fed by the next generation of inline regulator, the new Gladiator RX2. The new inline boasts industry leading flow, recharge, reliability and ease of maintenance.

Electronics
The board inside the Drone is based on the Cyborg RX electronic platform, however programming and feedback is achieved via a chameleon LED housed in the rear of the grip frame. A powerful microprocessor achieves lightning fast firing response and allows the user to access fire modes and select fire options.

Limitless Potential
Add-ons for the Drone will give almost limitless combinations and customisation to your marker, the Drone is the perfect platform for your ideal scenario machine-gun.

PAINTBALL PRODUCT EXTRAVAGANZA

Paintball Events Unlimited returns for 4 full days to Atlanta in September for Paintball Product Extravaganza at the request of manufacturers and after a highly successful tradeshow this past February. Manufacturers will be presenting 2010 product lines at the show in addition to the ever popular training seminars and tech classes that have become a notable part of Extravaganza.

Nearly 60 exhibitors from the United States, Canada and overseas will converge on the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Atlanta, September 15 – 18, filling over 120 exhibit spaces to show paintball business owners from around the world new products in time for the Holiday Season.

Forum Pro Paintballsport begrüßt Kabinettsentscheidung
Das Forum Pro Paintballsport begrüßt die Entscheidung des Bundeskabinetts, das ursprünglich geplante Verbot unseres Sports von der Liste der Maßnahmen im Rahmen der geplanten WaffG-Änderungen zu nehmen.
Vielmehr hat sich die Politik nun dazu entschieden, gemeinsam mit Experten, Wissenschaftlern und letztlich vor allem auch mit uns – den Betroffenen – gemeinsam nach Wegen zu suchen, wie der Paintballsport zukünftig auf Grundlagen gestellt werden kann, die eine noch breitere Akzeptanz in der Gesellschaft finden.
Wir begrüßen das besonnene Vorgehen der Verantwortlichen sehr und werden seitens unseres Verbandes die Handelnden nach allen Kräften unterstützen. Wir sind sicher, dass auch eine neue wissenschaftliche Studie Paintball als das sehen wird, was es tatsächlich ist: ein moderner, zukunftsorientierter MANNSCHAFTSSPORT.
Als Lehre aus den letzten Wochen wird unser Verband einen Verhaltenskodex („Code of Conduct“) erarbeiten, der endgültig sicherstellen wird, dass der Paintballsport die Anforderungen der Gesellschaft an die Mitglieder unseres Verbandes erfüllt. Diesen werden wir in Kürze der Politik und der Öffentlichkeit vorstellen.
